CIF → Customer IdentiFicationnumber is a unique 11 digit number for each and every customer having bank account . CIF number is maditory for banking facilities like loan , income tax returns etc How to get CIF number without going to the bank? There are two ways:》 1) Referring passbook of your bank account (This will not be possible for old passbook holders as it is not printed in it)    2) By contacting the customer care department of your bank . This step is more easy and convienient than consulting the branch  [ REMEMBER :》 You should call the customer care of your bank only from the mobile number that is registered with the bank account .
